On this itinerary, we will discover and spend the night in the northern city of Girona, visiting the Jewish museum as well as having a guided walking tour of the city. On the following day, we will also experience being inside a dormant volcanic crater in the town of Olot! Furthermore, we will discover the small medieval town of Besalú – walking over a fully restored 12th century bridge, 11th century church, as well as the remains of a Medieval Jewish Synagogue. Moving on, we will visit the town of Banyoles which is most famous for the Lake of Banyoles. Here we will go kayaking and cycling – taking a 1-hour route to enjoy the scenery of the lake with the mountains surrounding it.

After a long day, we will arrive to this hidden fishermen’s town of Cadaqués, where we will know why Salvador Dalí was inspired by it so much. We will later visit his home in Port Lligat, a small village on a bay next to the town. On the following day, the ancient ruins of the Greek and Roman city await us in l’Escala, where we will have a complete guided tour of the whole excavated area unseen by many visitors to Catalonia.

We will end our last activity in the beautiful coastal city of Tossa de Mar, where we will go hiking on the Camí de Ronda, which is one of Europe’s most accessible hiking trails with a magical natural scenery! On the last day we will bring you back to Barcelona for you to discover all the artists that shaped this cosmopolitan city and enjoy the rest of its undiscovered unique architecture.
